She was a coyote in a trap, unafraid to snarl and hiss and bite to keep herself safe. None of her voyage believed in cooperation much, but I can't tell if she ever did. She was a survivor, and I'd have hated to have her as a true enemy. When she fought me on Halloween, she underestimated me. I doubt she will again.

Just makes me squirm. Reminds me too much of Cragen luring me into emotional conversations to keep his act up. I dunno. Might be making too much of it.
On the one hand, you're right, you have a personal trigger point there. On the other...her having that talk was a defense, because you would have it with Watson.
