Canon: Lavender Jack (End of Season 3, Act 2; the ministry just sent an undead fake Lavender Jack into the Margrave Building to attack the Lavender League, but Johnny and the real Lavender Jack managed to fight him off, with Johnny shooting him.)

Raised as the daughter of a politician and his shiny gem of a trophy wife, Johnny grew up being chastised for being a bit of a hoyden. He preferred to keep his hair short, and wore trousers as often as possible, all while being regularly lectured about how someday he’d need to settle down and marry to advance the family’s agenda.

Rather than accept this, Johnny decided to cut ties with his family at the age of 19, and become the man he was always meant to be. He started working as a bartender (and later manager) at the Blue Horseshoe Pub in the basement of the newly built Margrave Building in the city of Gallery. Over time, he saved money and built connections, eventually buying out the owner of the tavern.

From there, he worked his way up, quite literally, floor by floor. He rented out the apartments in the middle floors of the building, and by the time he was 25, he was ready for the piece de resistance, building the Margravine Club at the top of the building, a sophisticated champagne lounge that catered to the elite and powerful of Gallery. Shortly after the Margravine opened, however, a costumed villainous cad known only as the Black Note threatened to destroy the whole building under him, if his demands were not met. Scared to lose his home, his reputation, everything he'd struggled for, Johnny allowed the Note to house his assistant in the club and use the service corridors to come and go.

However, as the costumed vigilante known as Lavender Jack ferreted out the Black Note, his alternate identity (one Sir Mimley Bastrop) met and fell in love with Johnny, eventually realizing he was being leveraged to aid the Note. Johnny and Mimley eventually came to work together to defeat the Black Note, but Mimley and his sidekick were forced to flee the city.

The pair eventually returned to Gallery, as war in Europe and corruption in the city meant they couldn't ignore their duties. On learning that Mimley and Ducky were back, Johnny accepted a role in their so-called Lavender League--and began a real romance with Mimley as they prepared to take on Endo Gall and his corruption.

Powers/Abilities: While Johnny has no supernatural abilities, he has exceptional confidence and poise, is skilled at managing employees and money, and has a good fashion sense that runs a bit more formal than any occasion calls for. He’s observant and reads body language like a book. He's also a decent shot with a revolver.

Inventory: Dinner suit with white jacket and black bowtie. Pockets carry a revolver with 5 bullets, a cigarette case with 15 cigarettes, a gold metallic lighter, a tin of hair pomade, three after-dinner mints, a fountain pen, and a notepad.
